NLAHC started a new membership-based healthcare known as Direct Primary Care (DPC) or concierge medicine. This involves a direct financial relationship between the employer, the employee, and the health provider.

How Is DPC Different?

Instead of traditional fee-service models where providers bill insurance companies, DPC operates on a flat membership fee paid by the employer and a small co-pay paid by the employee to the healthcare provider.

Q3. Do you receive any revenue from insurance claims?

Ans: No, we do not receive or accept any money from insurance, including Medicaid and Medicare. However, we encourage all our members to have some catastrophic coverage.

Q4. How do I access NLHAC services?

Ans. You can access NLHAC through in-person office visits, virtual care appointments via video or phone, text messaging, or through the NLHAC App.

Q5. Is there a limit to the number of visits per month?

Ans. Unlimited visits 24/7. There is no limit to how many visits you and your family can have a month.

Q6. Can y family sign up even if they are not on my health plan?

Ans. No, not on the employer plan, but NLHAC has affordable plans for individuals and families, even if your family doesn’t receive insurance from your employer.
